Stopping the Vicious Circle of Killing

Omar is a person who exudes calm and positive vibes. He hasn't had the easiest life: displacement, shelter homes, her mother falling into a coma, losing his father...

He will tell us the story of the latter.

"I never knew my father nor did I know anything about him. My mum didn't talk about him and I respected her will. Quite recently, I had a serious health problem. I fell into a coma. When I got better, a friend of mine who knows my mother told me the story: my dad was an anthropologist and the guerillas killed him. And suddenly I understood: my mum decided not to tell us about our father's death because she didn't want to generate hate in us, and she wanted to break this vicious circle of hate, revenge and killing."
